“Jerry’s Day” Check Presentation to Tidewell Hospice

Anna Maria Oyster Bar founder John Horne and family gathered at the Landside O-Bar to proudly present a check for $4,887.34 to Tidewell Hospice’s Vice President of Philanthropy, Aida Matic. Proceeds from two events in February 2017 raised these funds, the monthly “12 Cheers for 20 Years” event and the annual “Ribs for Jerry” Day, in memory of Anna Maria Oyster Bar’s original chef, Jerry Yettaw, whose daughter attended the check presentation.  Click here to view gallery. Now in its 22 year, Kent C. Schulz was a Leadership Alumnus who was always involved in our community and never hesitated to lend a hand.
