Hello to our AMOB Family:

We have a special introduction for you today… Meet our brand-new Anna Maria Oyster Bar mascot: Penny!

As a family-friendly establishment, we knew that a mascot could create more opportunities to connect with all our raving fans, from one to 101! As you know, a dolphin has been the centerpiece of our iconic logo since we opened our doors back in 1995. We thought it was about time that we give that dolphin a name and officially bring it to life. She’s flipping excited to meet you!

Here’s a message we received on our shell-phone from Penny herself:

Whale, hello there! My name’s Penny, Penny the Dolphin that is.

It’s so great to finally introduce myself as the newest member of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar family. I have been searching for a cove to call home for a while now, so I am as happy as a clam to call Anna Maria Oyster Bar my new home! The people here are turtle-y wonderful.

I hope that I can help Anna Maria Oyster Bar make a SPLASH with their mission and vision for the future.  Who knows, maybe I could help teach the littlest AMOB Family members how to cook and read…wouldn’t that just be fin-tastic!? 🤩

I can just tell that you and I are going to be BFFs…Beach Friends Forever, that is! I am excited to share my story with each of you and create new memories together. I gotta get back to unpacking, but I’ll catch ya on the flip side! 🐬

Stay tuned for more from Penny, and make sure to follow AMOB on social media on Instagram and Facebook. Sea ya later!
