MEET OUR FABULOUS LANDSIDE MANAGER, RUTHIE ELLIS!
Ruthie is almost halfway into her 6th year as a manager at Landside. “I enjoy working at Anna Maria Oyster Bar because we serve fantastic food and drinks at a very reasonable price, but, I mostly love talking to all of our guests and I especially love hearing about how much they appreciate our great food and service. I’ve known John and Amanda Horne for many years, and. I love how much they give back to our community, and allow the staff to be a part of it,” said Ruthie.

Why did you choose to work in this industry?

I love interacting with and meeting new people!

Tell us about your approach to customer service.

I really listen to what our guests are saying. And if there’s a problem, do what it takes to fix it. Never let a guest leave unhappy!

What would your pet say about you if we asked for a reference? 

She keeps me fed, petted, vetted, and provides a lap to sit on!

Is there something that excites you so much it keeps you awake the night before?

I love events! Any time we have an event at AMOB, I get so excited!

Describe the most beautiful view you’ve ever seen.

What’s your pizza order?

Pepperoni, mushroom, onions, anchovies, and cheese.
