John Horne Awarded Leadership Manatee Alumni Association’s Kent Schulz Award

The Anna Maria Oyster Bar family of restaurants proudly announces its owner and founder, John Horne, received the Leadership Manatee Alumni Association’s esteemed Kent Schulz Award. Now in its 22 year, Kent C. Schulz was a Leadership Alumnus who was always involved in our community and never hesitated to lend a hand. He lost his battle with cancer several years ago and as a tribute to his involvement in Manatee County, the Leadership Manatee Alumni Association created an award which is presented each year to a Leadership alumnus who has demonstrated outstanding service in the community and professional achievement.
