Shuck Cancer!

Shuck Cancer!

Shuck Cancer! 1 in 8 Women in the United States will develop breast cancer over the course of their lifetime making it the most common type of cancer among women.

October marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the whole time we were slingin’ our special Pink Flamingo drinks with all proceeds going to two charities who are kicking the muck outta cancer, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and My Breast Friends 941.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, is a fun walk to raise awareness and funds to save lives from breast cancer. Throughout the event, Making Strides celebrates survivors, honors lost loved-ones and provides post-walk entertainment.

My Breast Friends, a local charity, provides direct services of meals, housecleaning, child care, rides to treatment, peer support, inspiration, and more to those in need. Their mission is to spread the power of hope during and beyond breast cancer diagnosis through experience, guidance, and friendship.

Throughout the month of October, we proudly raised $5,118 that will be split between the two organizations.
