CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2019 MANATEACH WINNERS!

It was a pleasure to co-sponsor this year’s ManaTeach rewards program along with Gettel Automotive.

ManaTeach is an authentic campaign inviting all Manatee County School District teachers to “tell their story” using current media trends. Area instructors submitted 2-minute videos throughout the year and a winner was chosen each month. The winners won a dinner for two at AMOB or a full vehicle treatment at Gettel Automotive!

The Grand Prize was chosen for the whole year, where the winners were surprised with a visit from our very own John Horne and a camera crew from ABC 7 in their classroom at Palma Sola Elementary School. Two teachers, Ms. Jackie Simpson and Mr. Chris Edwards, produced a video on how STEM and music come together. It was even better that the only reason this program at Palma Sola was available this year was through referendum dollars that were passed in 2018. You might remember we were extremely supportive of the referendum personally and through a community partnership called Together Manatee. How awesome is it to see immediate results in our education system locally!

Ms. Simpson and Mr. Edwards received dinner for 20 at the Oyster Bars as the Grand Prize Videographers this year. There were quite a few volunteers from their students when they heard what their teachers won…we’ll see who they choose to bring for dinner. Click here to watch the video from ABC 7!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2019 MANATEACH WINNERS!

When it comes to education, AMOB is there. There to support. There to teach. There to make sure our kiddos receive the best possible education they can! Congratulations to the 2019 ManaTeach winners!
