February ManaTeach Winner

ManaTeach is an authentic campaign to “Tell Your Story” using current media trends. ManaTeach creates and distributes a steady stream of short video stories to inform a receptive audience about what’s going on in Manatee County schools.

ManaTeach is the centerpiece of a Strategic Communications Plan to help the district connect with all stakeholders. Market research proves that the public wants to know what’s going on in our classrooms, not just what’s going on in the boardroom. This campaign is designed to improve employee morale by giving them an outlet to showcase their talent and results. It allows parents to see inside their children’s classrooms even though they are not present.

Teachers submitted ManaTeach videos in February describing “What I Taught. What I Learned.” The Anna Maria Oyster Bar teamed up with ManaTeach for this month’s video contest to offer a chance to win dinner for two.

Joselyn Iglesia, a First Grade Teacher at Moody Elementary School was the winner! The AMOB family is so proud – congratulations!

Thank you, School District of Manatee County, for everything you do!
