Mackay’s Family Reunion at the O-Bars

MACKAY’S FAMILY REUNION AT THE O-BARS

We’re ALL about family at the Oyster Bars —  whether it’s our crew (related by blood….or sweat) or the guests, both make this place so special. We’re always dedicated to bringing great value in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

So, when our friends, the Mackay’s, came to visit us during their annual family reunion we were happy to see them. The Mackay’s hail from across the country from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Colorado and California — and join together each year to visit the Manatee County area.

The Mackay crew arrived at our Cortez location sporting custom shirts that said, “It’s All About the Food”, on the back, followed by a list of local greats. And while the list may be alphabetical… we’re glad to be at the tip-top of theirs!

This clan of twenty-two pays us a visit every year. We’re their go-to Thursday restaurant… and for good reason! We offer a hearty Prime Rib meal every Thursday that starts at only $14.99. It’s available at our Landside, Cortez and Ellenton location from 3:00pm to close.

We’re so humbled to be a part of their family memories. Thanks again, Mackay’s for stopping by! We look forward to seeing you again next year!
