Literacy Day at Palmetto Elementary

LITERACY DAY AT PALMETTO ELEMENTARY

As part of the Anna Maria Oyster Bar’s continued commitment to promoting grade-level reading, John & Amanda Horne were invited to visit Palmetto Elementary on Friday, October 6 to mark International Literacy Day.

They had a blast with Ms. Mueller’s fourth graders (pictured at top) who read titles like “The Day the Crayons Quit” and “Mummy Trouble.”  John & Amanda were joined by representatives from the Palmetto Police Department and other community leaders for this very special occasion.

Thanks again for including us in the Literacy Day celebration… we are looking forward to next year already!
