This November as part of our year-long 12 Cheers for 20 Years campaign, we’re supporting the Food Bank of Manatee. In addition to our month-long food drive AND the Birthday Cocktails program, we also contributed to the annual Empty Bowls event. Anna Maria Oyster Bar Landside donated a crock of our delicious New England Clam Chowder to *both* days of this fabulous fundraiser, where guests purchase a $25 ticket and can enjoy samples of delicious soups from area restaurants.  Plus, attendees select a special handcrafted ceramic or wooden bowl to take home, too! For the month of October, as part of our 12 Cheers for 20 Years Campaign, we raised money for the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.  In total, Team “Shuck Cancer” raised $7,008… and had a great time doing it. To raise additional funds for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer beyond the monthly 12 Cheers Birthday Cocktail proceeds, our teams also sold pink “Shuck Cancer” t-shirts and buttons… at some of the stores, we also sold raffle tickets for great prizes! Pictured here is Vicki Giess who won $140 in a 50-50 raffle at our Cortez Oyster Bar.
