Bradenton Christian’s Local Government Day on Bradenton Beach

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting a class of third graders from Bradenton Christian School who were visiting Bradenton Beach to learn first-hand how local government works.  We were thrilled to provide lunch for these adorable future leaders of Manatee County after their exciting day visiting City Hall. 970 WFLA’s Breakfast on the Bay Comes To The Pier

Today started EARLY with News Radio 970 WFLA broadcasting live right from our deck, on air from 5am to 9am. Another spectacular sunrise greeted attendees, and Mimosas and Bloodies were flowing while John Horne cooked up breakfast favorites for the Visit Bradenton Gulf Islands team and friends. This special broadcast was part of Visit Bradenton Gulf Island’s Restaurant Month campaign, where for 30 days in October you can eat more and spend less in the Bradenton area. Historic Bridge Street Welcomes the Budweiser Clydesdales

On Saturday, October 14, the Bridge Street Merchants were pleased to welcome the Budweiser Clydesdales, who clip-clopped their way down Bridge Street that evening from 5-7pm.  At Anna Maria Oyster Bar on the Pier, we marked the special occasion with $1.50 Budweiser draft beers… what else? According to the Bradenton Herald, the Clydesdales’ appearance is part of the celebration for Gold Coast Eagle Distributing, which will receive the Ambassador of Excellence and the Big Jake awards.  There are only 23 other Anheuser-Busch distributors in the country with the accomplishment.
