SRQ MAGAZINE’S SB2: THE TOURISM ECONOMY

SRQ Magazine’s SB2: The Tourism Economy

Anna Maria Oyster Bar proudly sponsored the Keynote Presentation at SRQ Media’s SB2 Symposium on The Tourism Economy, which happened on Thursday, May 18, 2017. The tourism economy sparks opportunities beyond finding the perfect ice cream cone or enjoying the beauty of a sunset on Siesta Beach. Visitors have a major positive impact on our region and its ability to invest, sustain and grow the local economy. We loved hearing from panelists Jeff Mayers from The Resort at Longboat Key Club; Rick Piccolo from the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ); and Elliott Falcione from the Bradenton Area Convention Center. 2017 Silver Alert! John Turns 56

SILVER ALERT! John’s hair seems to be turning a little more silver in color each day……coincidentally, that matches the color of our Gulf oysters AND the Mer Soleil SILVER Chardonnay. We gathered at the Halfway Lounge at the Landside O-Bar on Wednesday, May 3 from 4-7pm to celebrate! In addition to the 56 cent Margaritas at each location, winery reps were on hand at Landside with free samples and goodies. $5.60 glasses of Mer Soleil SILVER Chardonnay flowed ($19.61 by the bottle – the year John graced us with his presence)…. Guests could also take advantage of $1 off all

We had 2 additional treats to our lunch: John and Amanda from the AMOB gave each student a book congratulating them on their PAW PRIDE!   The students eagerly started reading the books the minute they were in their hands.
